Why Regen Within
Regeneration is how living systems create lasting value. We design communications and gatherings the same way. As a result, trust, relationships, and culture get stronger over time. We believe:

Co-produced, co-hosted, and distributed a 15-episode season exploring vision, practice, and tools for regenerative systems. Led editorial arc, guest curation, and clip strategy.
Results: 14.8K Spotify plays, 25.6K RSS streams, 1.1K YouTube subs.

Wrote stories and news updates shared with 2,500+ members. Highlights include: ReFi Local Node Annual Report, Blockchain for Climate Action digest, and Regenerative Finance vs. Financial Capitalism. Established a steady editorial cadence across blog, newsletter, and socials.

World Economic Forum — Research
As part of the WEF Crypto Sustainability Coalition, conducted 23 in-depth interviews with leaders in regenerative finance, Web3 climate tech, digital MRV, and sustainability policy. Contributed research synthesis and writing for the whitepaper Blockchain for Scaling Climate Action.

ReFi Unconference — Barcelona
Co-organized an experimental, participant-led unconference with 100+ attendees. Oversaw sponsor and speaker coordination, program design, and on-site facilitation to spark cross-pollination.

Ventech — Central Coast Business Mixers
Organized two mixers with 100+ attendees each, in partnership with a local brewery. Managed pre-marketing, sponsor and vendor coordination, on-site setup, and videographer assets, strengthening Ventech’s role as the region’s hub for business and technology.

Illuminate Film Festival — Production & Volunteer Coordination
Served as Production & Volunteer Coordinator for the 11th annual Illuminate Film Festival, the world’s leading showcase for conscious cinema. Supported festival programming across 5 venues—from VIP receptions to film screenings and the festival hub. Coordinated volunteers, logistics, and on-site flow, and contributed to content creation and email outreach to amplify the festival’s mission of showcasing transformative films and conversations.

Meet the Founder
Strategist. Connector. Storyteller.
I’m Maya Z. Dentzel, founder of Regen Within. My path hasn’t been linear, and that’s my strength. I started in research and academia, then worked with international orgs (UN, WEF) and nonprofits (Global Citizen, Direct Relief), where I learned to break down complex ideas, build partnerships, and turn global issues into human-centered stories. Later, inside creative studios, web3 startups and community initiatives, I produced and co-hosted a systems-change/ReFi podcast and curated gatherings: from academic colloquia and “unconferences” to salons and impact film nights.
Born in Moscow, shaped by New York, based in California, I move easily between worlds: structure and story, logic and mindfulness. I’m at my best on the edge of disciplines: helping purpose-driven teams say what they mean, find the right people, and design rooms people remember.
